For years I dedicated my life to helping others with their art while putting my own creativity on the back burner. It was a survival choice. I was a single mom with two young boys without a safety net. I put myself through college working in a clinic and as an educator at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. When I achieved my teaching certificate, I taught art at Gloucester High School for twenty years before retiring. I always promised myself I would dedicate my remaining years to creating the art I always dreamed I would create.

Although I am in my 70’s I am just starting this journey— with all the excitement and hopes of a 20 year old. Who knows what the days will bring? All I know is that in my studio I feel like I am finally home.
